new shows for fall

It's been a while since i posted. The summer was crazy and when i finally finished summer shows , i don't know where the time has gone. Weddings, showers, family stuff. So am now just catching my breath and letting you know about all the new stuff. First off i have added 2 new shows this fall . The first is in Milford on November 5, 2011. It is being held at the High school - 2380 S.Milford Rd, Milford,Mi. Show time is 9am to 4pm.
The next weekend- Nov 12- i am in Mt.Pleasant at the West Intermediate School. Show time is 9am to 3:30pm. I have been here a few years.
The next new show is on November 19th i will be at Santa's craft castle at the Eisenhower High school - 6500 25mile rd.,Shelby Township. Show time is 9am to 4pm. Hope to you you down the road. I have some new bags and purses. I hope to get them posted before my next show which is on Oct. 8th at Saginaw Valley State University in Saginaw, mi. Show time is 10am to 4 pm.

The convertible bag

The convertible bag is a small purse you can wear over the shoulder or across your body. Simple unclip and attach to the side ring. It is perfect for your Kindle,Nook or Ipad. The front has a zippered pocket on the flap and magnetic closure. Large pocket on back. Inside has 2 large pockets. Machine wash and dry.

Side- cinch bags

New this year is a side- cinched bag. It has a large pocket in front and back and 2 small side pockets. Magnetic snap closure. Sturdy padded handle. Fully lined with 2 large pockets inside. Comes in large -$35.00 and small - $25.00.

Elk Rapids show 5-28-2011

Upcoming show will be at Elk Rapids- downtown on the main street. Elk Rapids is a very beautiful town on Lake Michigan. Lots of great small shops and terrific artists. Hopefully we will have some great weather instead of all this rain. Keep your fingers crossed. Here are some simple totes to use when you go to the beach, grocery store, or the art show. Sturdy corded handle with large grommets. Two large outside and inside pockets.

Quilts, quilts, quilts

I still love to make quilts.Due to the rise in cheap mass-market quilts (at discount stores), it is hard to get a good price for a hand-made, unique quilt.So in recent years I have turned to making a few abstract,geometric quilts when i find a great focus fabric. Usually i play around with design in January/february when i don't have alot on my plate. Here are a few I will be selling this summer. They range in size from 42" square to 72" x 68".

messenger bags for summer

Messenger bags continue to be very popular . When i saw these fabrics i knew i wanted to design a basic messenger bag. The small is 16" x 12" x 4" and will hold a 14" x 10" laptop. The large is 17" x 14" x 5" and will hold a 15" or larger laptop. They are made of 100% premium cotton and cotton poplin. They have an adjustable strap on both the large and small. Inside is a zippered pocket and large open pocket. On the front under the flap is a large pocket. The small bag is $27.00 and the large is $35.00.
